What is Sensory Room?
Our multi-sensory room therapy is designed for patients that need an area with targeted limited environmental stimulation. We have created a space and equipment where we are able to connect with the patient via their senses (visual, auditory, tactile, smell). This is especially important for patients with severe autism and sensory integration problems. We want this patient not to feel overwhelmed by too much stimulus.
In addition, this room is utilized for Dysphagia and Sensory Integration Therapy.
