Therapy for Dyslexic Children & Adults
People with dyslexia have normal intelligence and usually have normal vision. It is a hard problem to diagnose and it can go undiagnosed for years. It is very important to identify the cause of learning difficulties to have an appropriate dyslexia treatment program.
What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a learning problem where the eyes have difficulty understanding letters, numbers, etc. when they read or when they hear them. It is a decoding problem. For example, they see the letter “d” instead of the letter “b” or they skip a letter or words in a sentence.
Common dyslexia symptoms
The Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment performs a comprehensive evaluation to appropriately diagnose patients and be able to design the appropriate individualized dyslexia treatment program and therapy for dyslexic children. Our holistic dyslexia services identify and provide solutions to dyslexia symptoms, including some of the most common symptoms.

- Problems reading and/or writing or spelling
