The Impact of COVID and Employees
COVID has impacted all of us and changed our lives in some ways forever. Companies are included in the change and for a significant number of businesses, work will continue from home. This new normal has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the concerns is the effects these will have in the long run on employees that have children. Parents have changed their work schedule and can now provide more attention to their families. However, to achieve tasks, they work at night or when their family is busy. To be able to meet and exceed their company’s expectations, they must become more efficient due to the increased workload. Some are motivated by job security. Home before the pandemic was the place to recharge, rest, and have fun. The new work environment has started to cause burnout and significant frustration not only because of the increased workload and added house chores but the inability to separate home from work.

The WIN Education program is a membership that provides hundreds of videos to train parents on how to work with children of different ages and different diagnoses. In addition, parents can request a private consultation with experts to tackle their individual needs. It is a very dynamic program where parents can request information or training in topics of their interest. A private Facebook group was created so parents can share their concerns and real day to day situations. The membership is organized in levels that provide discounts on WIN services and products.
